This can opener works so well you don't even think it is doing anything, but then, voila! the entire can top is unsealed smoothly and just lifts off the can! I love this can opener. Once you get used to the unorthodox way you place it on the can, you really start to appreciate this extraordinary tool. It was definitely an adjustment when I first started to use it. The entire cutting process is much more subtle than it is with a conventional can opener.
